CARING YOUR PUĀ JEWELS

KEEP YOUR JEWELRY AWAY FROM HARSH CHEMICALS

Exposure to chemicals can damage or discolor metals. Even everyday substances like hairspray, lotion, perfume or other cosmetics can contain chemicals that will permanently damage the surface of your jewelry.
Avoid exposure to chlorine swimming pools or hot tubs when wearing our jewelry, since it could damage the product.

SAFELY STORE YOUR JEWELRY

If you don’t have a jewelry case, make sure to wrap each piece of jewelry in a soft tissue or paper before placing it in a drawer. This will prevent it from scratches and tangling. Most jewelry pieces come in a box or pouch when purchased at the store, if you don’t have a jewelry case, these pouches are a perfect place to keep and protect your jewelry. Please try to store your jewelry in a clean, dry space.

Although we work with high quality materials, if you have a known allergy, please be aware when purchasing our plated jewelry. Please take care of our jewelry since most styles have a brass or copper base metal that could be exposed if the piece is missed kept. All our jewelry is nickel free.

Gold-filled jewelry is most practical when we are thinking about longevity and durability. Gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, and other such events are much more meaningful when the piece is meant to last decades, which is why gold-filled jewelry makes the perfect gift!
The longevity of either type is dependent on wear, environment, and quality of the piece. Although there is a possibility that gold-filled pieces can tarnish, it takes very special circumstances for it to happen.

Stainless steel is great for jewelry because of its durability and longevity. If properly taken care of, jewelry made with stainless steel can last many years without losing its shine and looking brand new.
Different metals and alloys are known to cause allergic reactions when worn on the skin. Stainless steel is hypoallergenic, so it is very unlikely that jewelry pieces made from it will induce any allergic reactions. Stainless steel jewelry is relatively more affordable than gold and silver pieces and some say that is even more practical for the day to day.
